Today is "Tip Day" at According to Lala...
When my son was little it was his "job" to set the table for dinner (and Lilley Kate is currently learning the "art" of table setting)... sometimes it can be confusing to kids (and some adults too) as to WHICH side of the plate to put the silverwear... Here is a little "trick" I came up with...
Placing the plate in front of you on the table... the FORK goes on the LEFT (fork and left both have 4 letters)... The KNIFE goes on the RIGHT (knife and right both have 5 letters) and the SPOON goes on the RIGHT (spoon and right both have 5 letters)... once your kids can remember that they can EASILY set the table!!!
